Hi guys, question in the title really. When you click Export -> Save as PDF, what is Rstudio actually doing?
How To Change Font In R Studio
I'm asking because I want to start using knitr/rmarkdown to start making my figures/saving my workflow. My plan is to use the final .pdf figures from my rmarkdown documents in figures for publication.

In this video, Sky Van Iderstine will tell you how to get your IP address e-mailed to you every time it changes by using a freeware program, Wimp. With this information, you can then track your stolen Mac laptop or even desktop's location using www.ip-adress.com (the 'adress' is not a typo.) Imagine the look of the police officers when you show them the satellite picture of your suspects location! Hello, I don't know how, but the menu font size of R Studio on my MAC is terribly small. For publication, I import the pdfs into Illustrator and then rearrange them into panels as necessary. However, the problem I'm having with the pdf output straight from rmarkdown is that it's slightly different from the pdf generated by the export option. For example, data points from a scatter plot generated by rmarkdown are 'circles' from the 'Adobe Pi Std' font as opposed to just filled circle vectors (which is what you get via the export option). Here are two example pdfs for anyone who wants to see what I mean: This is the pdf generated by rmarkdown and this is the pdf exported manually from 'export -> save as pdf'. This isn't the only problem, but it's one of them!
